Chalet Dupree

Chalet Dupree is a modern chalet built of wood in the traditional style giving it a classic mountain look. It is on a sunny plateau in the old village of Chinaillon and has wonderful views in all directions. Inside, the wooden walls and the massive timber beams give it an air of solidity and warmth. It sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms and is fully centrally heated.

The first floor is the heart of the chalet and is made up of a large open plan room with separate areas for cooking, eating and relaxing. The fully fitted kitchen has a 4 plate hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and cooking utensils. It has ample storage space for all your provisions.

The dining area has a large table and chairs with matching sets of glass, crockery and cutlery for 9 people. A high chair is available for small children.

The sitting room is furnished with comfortable modern sofas and chairs around a fireplace, with logs provided. A telephone is provided and calls are charged at the standard France Telecom rates. There is a TV which receives programmes in English, a video and DVD player.

French windows lead out onto the balcony at the front of the chalet with marvelous views to the ski slopes and the Aravis mountains.

The ground floor has a double bedded room with a desk and a comprehensive range of videos and DVDs, as well as numerous books and games. There is also a twin bedded room. The two bedrooms share the adjacent bathroom with its powerful shower, basin and WC. Both bedrooms have superb views across the valley.

On the second floor there is one double bed and single bed room with views of the mountains behind the chalet. There is also a south facing one double-bedded room with a balcony. This has outstanding views of the ski slopes and the Aravis mountain range. The two bedrooms share the bath/shower room with basin and a separate WC.

There is a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment. This room is also used for storing sports kit etc.

All sheets and bath towels are supplied. Cots and high chairs available on request.

There is ample parking outside the chalet on a private driveway.
