Getting there...

By car from Calais: Approximately 8 hours driving time.

By air: The nearest airport is Geneva, 50km/less than one hours drive. Geneva is served by many low cost carriers from a range of British airports. A regular ski bus operates in winter or taxi transfers can be arranged.

Other airports: Lyon, St. Etienne, Turin and Basel are only few hours travel away.

By train: Annecy station is less than 30km away with regular bus links.

If you come by car…

A 40 (Autoroute Blanche) ; exit 16 Bonneville; follow the signs Stations des Aravis (20 km) or A 41 exit Annecy North; follow signs Thônes / Stations des Aravis (30 km)

Some advice:

• Coming from the North of France, take the A39 motorway from Dijon, following signs for Geneva.
• If weather conditions are very bad come through Annecy - In winter the snow is cleared from the roads very quickly but, you should think about special equipment (snow tyres or snow chains).
